EXCURSION DESCRIPTION
Starting from the local tourist port, we will navigate through the Ushuaia Bay towards the Beagle Channel, where we will have as a first destination the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse (The Scouts), an authentic Fuegian symbol. Then we will go to the Bridges archipelago and approaching Isla de los Lobos we can observe sea lions with one and two hairs. Continuing our trip to the Island of the Birds, we will sail around it and we will be able to appreciate the Fuegian birdlife: Skúas, Black-browed Albatross, Steam Ducks, Cauquenes, Cook Gulls, Gray Gulls, Imperial and Royal Cormorants. Following the route we will arrive at Karelo Island, where passengers who wish so can descend and do a little trekking with our guide to learn about the history of the ancient natives of the area, take pictures and reach a panoramic point to enjoy the beautiful landscape surrounding them. (subject to weather conditions) At the end of the journey and back we will have a panoramic view of the city of Ushuaia and the mountains and the magnificent nature that surrounds it. Our tour lasts approximately 3 hours with two daily departures, the first one at 09: 30hs and the second at 16: 00hs in summer season and 10: 00hs and 15: 00hs in winter season. It also has snack bar service, cafeteria and photography service on board.
