BEAGLE CHANEL + NATIONAL PARK + THE END OF THE WOLRD TRAIN

This full day experience starts at 9:00 at the local tourist port. At 9:30 we start navigating through the Ushuaia Bay towards the Beagle Channel, where we will have as a first destination the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse (The Iluminators), an authentic Fuegian symbol. Then we will go to the Bridges archipelago and approaching Sea Lions Island we can observe Sea Lions with one and two hairs. Continuing our trip to the Birds Island, we will sail around it and we will be able to appreciate the Fuegian birdlife: Skúas, Black-browed Albatross, Steam Ducks, Cauquenes, Cook Gulls, Gray Gulls, Imperial and Royal Cormorants. Following the route we will arrive at Karelo Island, where passengers who wish so can descend and do a little trekking with our guide to learn about the history of the ancient natives of the area, take pictures and reach a panoramic point to enjoy the beautiful landscape surrounding them. (subject to weather conditions) At the end of the journey and back we will have a panoramic view of the city of Ushuaia and the mountains and the magnificent nature that surrounds it.
Once in the City, you will have one hour to have lunch by your own.
After lunch, we will pickup you where you are and start our afternoon excursion, traveling the first 8km and, next to the Ushuaia Golf Club, we will arrive at THE END OF THE WORLD TRAIN station.
After forty years without working, in 1994 the Train of the End of the World resumed part of the old route made by the train of the prisoners, which departed from the Ushuaia prison, located in the center of the city, towards the hillside of Monte Susana with the aim of obtaining materials (wood and stone) for its construction. On board the train you can listen to the history of the prisoners who came to cut wood every day to this area, and enjoy magnificent landscapes, composed of the zigzagging Pipo River, the La Macarena waterfall, the tree cemetery and the majestic forest of Tongues In this way you will visit an inaccessible part of the Tierra del Fuego National Park, where you can enjoy this experience aboard a vintage railroad, with its steam locomotives and elegant cars that have large windows and an individual audio system, the which offers the possibility to listen to the story in 7 different languages, in order to not only appreciate the nature that surrounds it, but also to know a very important part of the history of Ushuaia.
 
After the Train, we will get further inside the Tierra del Fuego National Park (area reserved for the protection of the sub-Antarctic forest, native flora and fauna). We will visit Ensenada Bay, Acigami Lake (glacial lake of more than 5 square km), the Alakush Interpretation Center, where we will have approximately 30 free minutes in the service area and then continue to Lapataia Bay, end of Pan-American Route N 3. From there, once we have crossed the walkways, we will begin the return to the city of Ushuaia.
